Open Question: Do you think its worth buying?

My brother in law is selling us a 2002 GMC Anvoy at first he said he would give it to us for 6,000 he was already making 2 thousand more than what he bought if for, now he says he fixed alot of things that were wrong with it and he wants 7,000 for it. The SUV is Red, Leather interior, Sunroof, it has 100,000 and some miles on it, also it has a wood frame I mean we haven't seen any other Anvoy's like this one but I want other peoples opinions, Is it really worth buying?...
