it does have a 5.7 liter v8...but i did a burn out in it yesterday..and i was driving a some gmc truck with a bigger engine it was lighter and it was a 2005 and it was crankin at least 330 horse couldnt get it to smoke the tires...and it doesnt slam your head back like the 97...is that normal or is ... read more

Mechanics have told me that the gaskets dont cost much ~$300 plus other parts. but its the labor that will kill me. total ~$1500-2000 Can I find out if GM will cover some cost? I mean my truck is not that old but does have quite some miles ~130,000. What are my best options? Thanks people... read more

And still have under 30K? The only ones i have found so far, years 2004 and up, are the GMC Envoy, Chevy Trailblazer and the likes. And ppl are saying these are all big time gaz guzzlers. thanks in advance!... read more

I have a 1997 Gmc Yukon 4x4. I drove it to the store. Tried going forward and the rear wheel is locked up. But it will go into reverse with no problems. But when you put it into drive the the rear passenger wheel is locked and wont move. But will move in reverse. What could this be?... read more
